Open Course for Business Enterprises “Public Commitments to Human Rights Beyond Compliance”
The FECAP Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on Business and Human Rights, in partnership with Instituto Ethos, invites you to participate in the workshop “Public Commitments to Human Rights Beyond Compliance”!
The workshop will be taught by faculty and specialists in Business and Human Rights and will include both asynchronous and synchronous activities, totaling 15 hours of coursework.
– Asynchronous Class Module (virtual platform): June 18–24, 2025
– Synchronous In-Person Module: June 25, 2025, at FECAP’s Campus Liberdade
The workshop will bring companies together to mobilize around the human rights agenda and encourage critical reflection on the impacts of their operations from a human rights perspective, deepening dialogue on the relationship between business and human rights, through dynamic, immersive activities focused on the collaborative creation and critical review of human rights commitments.
Lectures will be given by: Prof. Cláudia Marconi and Prof. Rafael Miranda (CoE co-directors), together with Marília Lofrano, a lawyer specializing in the field from the Mattos Filho law office.
