Open Course for Business Enterprises “Remediation: Impact, Risk and Crisis Management in Human Rights”
The FECAP Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on Business and Human Rights, in partnership with Instituto Ethos, invites you to participate in the workshop “Remediation: Impact, Risk and Crisis Management in Human Rights”!
The workshop will be taught by faculty and specialists in Business and Human Rights and will include both asynchronous and synchronous activities, totaling 15 hours of coursework.
– Asynchronous Class Module (virtual platform): October 19–26, 2025
– Synchronous In-Person Immersion (9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.): October 27, 2025, at FECAP’s Campus Liberdade
The workshop aims to train professionals to identify human rights risks and impacts, develop effective remediation strategies, and prepare corporate crisis response plans, aligned with global standards and Brazilian regulatory frameworks, covering: “Remediation: Global and Local Human Rights Standards”; “Impact, Risk and Crisis in Human Rights”; and, in the in-person immersion, the co-creation of a remediation plan followed by a cross-feedback round among participants.
Lectures will be given by: Prof. Cláudia Marconi and Prof. Rafael Miranda (CoE co-directors), together with Marília Lofrano.
