Open Course: Business and Human Rights
The Fecap Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on Business and Human Rights invites everyone to participate in a free, open course!
The course will be taught by faculty specializing in Business and Human Rights and will include both synchronous and asynchronous activities, totaling 40 hours of coursework.
– Synchronous Class Module (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) – March 24, 26, 31, and April 2, 2025
– Asynchronous Follow-up and Skills Development Module (virtual platform): April 3–14
Lectures will be given by:
- Prof. Cláudia Marconi: “The Business and Human Rights Agenda: A Reading from Its Governance”;
- Prof. Rafael Miranda: “The EU and Its Role in Business and Human Rights Normativity”;
- Prof. Paula Danese (University of Wisconsin-Madison): “Human Rights Due Diligence and Corporate Responsibility in the Context of Climate Change”; and
- Prof. Júlia Penachioni (USP): “Armed Conflicts and Corporate Responsibility in the International Context”.
