Open Course: Business and Human Rights
The Fecap Jean Monnet Center of Excellence on Business and Human Rights invites everyone to participate in a free, second edition of the open course!
The course will be taught by faculty specializing in Business and Human Rights and will include both synchronous and asynchronous activities, totaling 40 hours of coursework.
– Synchronous Class Module (9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.) – February 9, 10, 11 and 12, 2026
– Asynchronous Follow-up and Skills Development Module (virtual platform): February 13–25
Lectures will be given by:
- Prof. Cláudia Marconi:“The Business and Human Rights Agenda: A Reading from Governance”;
- Prof. Rafael Miranda: “The EU and Its Role in Business and Human Rights Normativity”;
- Prof. Paula Danese (University of Wisconsin-Madison): “Human Rights Due Diligence and Corporate Responsibility in the Context of Climate Change”; and
- Prof. Dr. Daniel Carvalho (Unifesp): “Corporate Responsibility and International Law”.
